06:09 AM EDT, 10/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Seven & i Holdings has received a fresh nonbinding takeover offer from Canada's Alimentation Couche-Tard ( ANCTF ) , weeks after the Japanese company rejected an earlier proposal, The Wall Street Journal reported.
"We will continue to aim for maximizing the benefits of our shareholders and other stakeholders," the 7-Eleven parent said in a statement Wednesday, adding that it plans to maintain confidentiality of discussions, as requested by Couche-Tard.
