06:46 AM EDT, 08/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Carlyle Group ( CG ) , alongside German state lender KfW, continues to be in "good discussions" regarding the purchase of a majority stake in Thyssenkrupp's warship division, Reuters reported Wednesday, quoting Thyssenkrupp's chief financial officer, Jens Schulte, as telling journalists.

Carlyle, KfW and Thyssenkrupp did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
