06:08 AM EDT, 08/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Citigroup ( C ) has added a new section to its quarterly report, detailing its multi-year reorganization and compliance with regulatory orders, following a request from the SEC, Reuters reported late Wednesday.

The report said the SEC's letter, received by Citi in June and disclosed on Wednesday, asked for revisions to future filings.

"This new section will discuss Citi's broader transformation efforts, which also include efforts to implement the October 7, 2020, FRB and OCC consent orders," Citigroup ( C ) responded in a letter to the SEC on July 10, which was disclosed on Wednesday, according to Reuters.

The bank also updated its second quarter report with details on 2024 consent orders to improve regulatory disclosures.
