01:44 PM EDT, 06/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Citizens Financial Group ( CFG ) recently hired a slew of wealth advisers to its wealth-management business to attract ultra-high-net-worth clients and plans more, Chief Executive Bruce Van Saun told Bloomberg Tuesday in an interview.
Citizens hired Morgan Stanley veteran Paul Casey in April to lead its Citizens Private Wealth franchise, Bloomberg reported. It also hired two teams, including a 12-person team in California, led by Rick Gordon, that previously managed about $5 billion in client asset.
Van Saun plans to further expand in New York and Florida. The company has hired nearly 220 employees since 2023, the news outlet reported.
Citizens didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
