12:35 PM EDT, 06/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CoreWeave ( CRWV ) is in talks to buy Core Scientific ( CORZ ) , The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

A deal could be finalized in the coming week if talks don't hit any setbacks, the people reportedly said.

CoreWeave ( CRWV ) and Core Scientific ( CORZ ) did not immediately reply to requests for comment from MT Newswires.

Shares of Core Scientific ( CORZ ) were up 8% while CoreWeave ( CRWV ) shares were down almost 1% in recent trading.
