06:33 AM EDT, 10/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CVS Health ( CVS ) is appointing executive David Joyner to the chief executive post, succeeding Karen Lynch, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday, citing an interview with the executive.

The appointment is reportedly effective immediately.

Board Chair Roger Farah will also become executive chair, the Journal said.
