02:24 PM EDT, 09/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- EchoStar's ( SATS ) Dish Network plans to hold talks with a group of lenders who filed a lawsuit seeking to undo a series of collateral transfers the company made this year, Bloomberg reported Thursday.

The company may meet the creditor representatives as soon as this week Talks also include the prospect of extending a $2 billion bond due Nov. 15, the report said.

EchoStar ( SATS ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

Shares of EchoStar ( SATS ) jumped 18% in recent trading Thursday.
