03:45 PM EDT, 04/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Electronic Arts ( EA ) is laying off 300 to 400 employees and plans to cancel development of its Titanfall game, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing a person familiar with the cuts.

Of the total, 100 positions were chopped at the Respawn Entertainment unit, the report said.

"We've made select changes within our organization that more effectively aligns teams and allocates resources in service of driving future growth, an Electronic Arts ( EA ) spokesman said, according to the report.

Electronic Arts ( EA ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
