01:10 PM EDT, 03/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Engine Capital has taken a 1% stake in Lyft ( LYFT ) worth about $50 million and is calling for a strategic review of the ride-hailing company, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing a letter it reviewed and a person familiar with the matter.

Lyft ( LYFT ) did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

Shares were up 2.4% in recent trading.
