06:15 AM EDT, 09/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Federal Aviation Administration head Mike Whitaker will testify on Sept. 24 before the House of Representatives Transportation Committee regarding Boeing's ( BA ) plan to improve its safety culture, Reuters reported Monday, citing the committee.

The hearing comes as the FAA is still assessing Boeing's ( BA ) reform plans to address "systemic quality-control issues," which was submitted in late May.

The Congress committee, the FAA and Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
