Market Chatter: Ford to Cut Stock Bonuses for Middle Managers in Cost-Saving Move
Feb 18, 2025 10:15 AM

12:50 PM EST, 02/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ford Motor ( F ) will not pay stock bonuses to nearly half of the middle managers in the company this year as part of Chief Executive Jim Farley's attempts to cut down costs, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing six people familiar with the matter.

The company's senior managers are required to select the middle management staff eligible for stock bonuses, four of the people reportedly said.

"We are focused on driving a high-performance culture that recognizes and rewards employees for their business contributions," the company's spokesperson told Reuters.

Ford did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
