07:50 AM EDT, 04/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ford (F) will recall and update the engine control software of 42,652 Bronco Sport and Escape vehicles in the US due to cracked fuel injectors, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Ford will include fuel injector leak detection in the vehicles' software and install a drain tube, according to the report.

The automaker did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
