12:30 PM EST, 12/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- GFL Environmental's ( GFL ) environmental services business has attracted interest from three investment firms, Apollo Global Management ( APO ) , EQT (EQT) and Stonepeak, Bloomberg reported Friday.

The suitors have discussed financing options with potential lenders ahead of a bid deadline this month, the report said, citing people familiar with the matter.

The report cautioned that there was no guarantee any of the firms would pursue a deal or that they would remain the only bidders for the business.

GFL, Apollo, and EQT did not immediately respond to comments from MT Newswires.
