07:48 AM EDT, 10/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ) is developing artificial intelligence software with capabilities similar to Microsoft ( MSFT )-backed (MSFT) OpenAI's o1, which has human-like reasoning abilities, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

Google ( GOOG ) has deployed multiple teams to work on the AI reasoning software, which is able to solve complex math and computer programming problems by considering several answers to queries before responding with the best one, the report said.

Google ( GOOG ) did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
