Mar 11, 2024 6:13 AM

08:51 AM EDT, 03/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- GDS Holdings ( GDS ) could receive a total investment of between $500 million and $600 million from alternative asset managers Hillhouse Capital, Boyu Capital and CDH Investments to back GDS's data center business outside China, Bloomberg reported late Sunday, citing people familiar with the matter.

A agreement on the final amount could be reached in the coming weeks, but no final decisions have been made and other investors could be involved in the deal, the report said, citing the sources.

None of the asset management companies nor GDS immediately responded to MT Newswires' requests for comment.

Shares of the company were up nearly 14% in recent Monday premarket activity.
