09:03 AM EDT, 07/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- India's Directorate General of Civil Aviation has ordered an inspection of fuel switches on all Boeing ( BA ) 737 and 787 aircraft operating in the country, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing a statement from the regulator.

A fuel-switch cut off is considered a key reason behind the crash of an Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner on June 12, according to the report.

Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
