Market Chatter: Intercontinental Exchange in Talks to Acquire Enverus in $6 Billion Deal

02:40 PM EDT, 07/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Intercontinental Exchange ( ICE ) is in talks to acquire Enverus in a deal valued at about $6 billion, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

ICE has been negotiating the potential acquisition following an auction process for the Hellman & Friedman-backed energy data platform, according to the report late Tuesday.

A deal has not yet been finalized and talks could still fall through, according to the sources.

Intercontinental Exchange ( ICE ) and Enverus didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
