Market Chatter: Intercontinental Exchange in Talks to Invest $2 Billion in Polymarket; Shares Up Pre-Bell

06:31 AM EDT, 10/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Intercontinental Exchange ( ICE ) is in discussions for a $2 billion investment in Polymarket in a transaction that could value the crypto-based prediction market at up to $10 billion, The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

A deal could be announced as soon as Tuesday, the unnamed sources told the publication.

Intercontinental Exchange ( ICE ) and Polymarket didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.

Intercontinental Exchange ( ICE ) shares were up 4.3% in recent premarket activity.
