Market Chatter: JPMorgan Hires Zhang Yi From Goldman to Co-Lead China Investment Banking

02:28 PM EDT, 03/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) hired Zhang Yi from Goldman Sachs Group ( GS ) to serve as co-head of its China investment-banking business alongside Michelle Wang, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing an internal memo.

Zhang will join JPMorgan ( JPM ) in the summer, the report said.

JPMorgan ( JPM ) and Goldman did not immediately reply to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
