02:12 PM EDT, 06/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- A mediator proposed that President Donald Trump and Paramount Global ( PARAA ) settle Trump's lawsuit over a CBS "60 Minutes" interview with Kamala Harris for $20 million, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The proposed deal includes a $17 million donation to Trump's presidential foundation or museum, additional funds to cover legal fees and public service announcements on Paramount's networks to combat antisemitism, the report said.
Negotiations are ongoing, and a final agreement hasn't been reached, the report said.
Trump sued Paramount in October, accusing CBS of manipulating Harris's interview to make her appear better during her presidential campaign, calling it "election interference," the report said.
The lawsuit has become a sticking point in Paramount's pending merger with Skydance Media, the report said.
Paramount didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
