08:52 AM EDT, 03/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) appointed Pavan Davuluri as its chief of Windows and Surface team, The Verge reported late Monday, citing an internal memo from Rajesh Jha, Microsoft's ( MSFT ) head of experiences and devices.

Davuluri, who has been with the company for more than 23 years, headed the Surface team while Mikhail Parakhin headed the Windows team. As Parakhin has "decided to explore new roles," Microsoft ( MSFT ) brought together the Windows and Surface teams under Davuluri, the report added.

Microsoft ( MSFT ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
