02:04 PM EDT, 09/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Netflix ( NFLX ) is engaged in discussions with BuzzFeed ( BZFD ) to live-stream YouTube talk show Hot Ones, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

The companies expect to reach an agreement this month, the people were quoted as saying.

The discussions cover Sean Evans hosting several live shows specifically produced for Netflix ( NFLX ), according to the report.

Neither Netflix ( NFLX ) nor BuzzFeed ( BZFD ) immediately responded to MT Newswires' requests for comment.

Shares of Netflix ( NFLX ) were up 1.6% in recent trading.
