In their suit, authors Brian Keene, Abdi Nazemian, and Stewart O'Nan alleged that the company used about 196,640 books, including theirs, to train NeMo in ordinary written language, according to the report. Reuters said the authors also stated that NeMo was shut down in October for reported copyright infringement.
According to the report, the authors are seeking unspecified damages.
Nvidia ( NVDA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
