06:10 AM EST, 02/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nvidia ( NVDA ) is close to finalizing a $20 billion capital investment into Microsoft ( MSFT )-backed (MSFT) OpenAI, Bloomberg reported late Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The chipmaker's contribution represents its largest single commitment to the AI company and is nearing completion, the report said.

OpenAI aims to secure as much as $100 billion in its current financing cycle from several major technology organizations, Bloomberg has reported.

Nvidia ( NVDA ) and OpenAI did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
