10:43 AM EDT, 05/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Pfizer ( PFE ) plans to launch an online platform to sell its products, including COVID-19 treatment Paxlovid and migraine nasal spray Zavzpret, the Financial Times reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The website would connect US customers with telehealth consultants who would prescribe the medications and a drug-dispensing partner that would fill and deliver the prescriptions, according to the report.
The online platform is expected to launch later in 2024, the FT reported.
Pfizer ( PFE ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment by MT Newswires.
Shares of the company rose 2.6% in recent trading.
