01:59 PM EDT, 06/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Saudi Arabia's low-cost airline flyadeal is considering buying 10 to 20 wide-body jets from either Boeing ( BA ) or Airbus, Reuters reported Monday, citing an interview with Chief Executive Steven Greenway.
The carrier is in the early stages of comparing the Boeing 787 and Airbus A330neo but is yet to start a formal competition between the jet makers, Greenway told Reuters.
The planes would be worth up to $5 billion at list prices, though will likely be on reduced prices as airlines typically win discounts, Reuters reported.
flyadeal, Boeing ( BA ) and Airbus did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
