06:05 AM EDT, 03/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Chipmaker SK Hynix is looking to raise up to 15 trillion South Korean won ($10.01 billion) from its initial public offering in the US, according to a translated Monday report from Korea Economic Daily.
The company plans to issue new American depositary receipts equivalent to about 2.4% of its total shares, industry sources told the news outlet. According to the report, SK Hynix plans to use the proceeds to boost production capacity and its position in the artificial intelligence semiconductor market.
SK Hynix did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for a comment.
