Market Chatter: Stellantis EV Model Launch Delayed Due to Software Bugs

10:50 AM EDT, 07/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Stellantis ( STLA ) is facing production setbacks on a new electric vehicle model for Europe due to software bugs, Bloomberg New reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The company planned to start deliveries of Citroen e-C3 in Q2, which is held back because of delays with final software checks, the people were quoted as saying.

The buyers will start getting their cars after the "summer break", the report added, citing a Stellantis ( STLA ) spokesperson.

Stellantis ( STLA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
