06:59 AM EDT, 10/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) is expected to announce a lower-cost version of its Model Y sport utility vehicle Tuesday in a bid to reverse declining sales and its shrinking market share, Reuters reported Tuesday.

Based on existing manufacturing and design platforms, the SUV expected this week is an "affordable" vehicle, the news agency reported.

Tesla didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
