09:18 AM EST, 02/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) has chosen showroom locations in New Delhi and Mumbai for its planned market entry into India, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing sources familiar with the matter.

Tesla has selected a showroom space in the Aerocity area near the international airport in New Delhi and is looking for a space in the business and retail center of Bandra Kurla Complex near the Mumbai airport, the report said.

The two showrooms will each have an area of around 5,000 square feet, and the stores' opening dates have not been yet determined, the report added.

Tesla did not respond to a Reuters' request for comment. The company also did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
