02:07 PM EST, 01/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla's (TSLA) Cybertruck joined the short list of electric vehicles that qualify for up to $7,500 in US tax credits, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Agency.

Currently, 18 EV and plug-in hybrids qualify for a credit, down from 22 last year, the report said.

Tesla didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
