Market Chatter: Tesla Tells Some Recruiters They're Being Laid Off

01:07 PM EDT, 04/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) has told some of its recruiters they have been laid off, Business Insider reported Friday, citing three former employees.

The former Tesla recruiters had been notified of the layoffs during a call early Friday, while others posted on LinkedIn they were let go, according to the report.

Tesla earlier this week announced it it was laying off more than 10% of its workforce.

Tesla did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
