09:18 AM EDT, 06/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) has released a software update for its in-car navigation system in China, Reuters reported Friday, citing a WeChat post from the electric vehicle maker.

The upgrade, which adds features like lane markings on maps corresponding to actual road lanes, will reportedly use Baidu ( BIDU ) as the map provider, the report said.

Neither Tesla nor Baidu ( BIDU ) immediately replied to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
