12:37 PM EDT, 07/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Verint Systems ( VRNT ) is exploring a potential sale and has hired bankers to seek buyers, Semafor reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The call-center software maker, valued at about $1.2 billion, faces mounting pressure from artificial-intelligence agents, the report said.

Verint ( VRNT ) didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

The company's shares fell 3.9% in recent trading Tuesday.
