Market Chatter: Verizon Communications Mobile Customers Face Roaming Issues Abroad

08:04 AM EDT, 06/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Verizon Communications ( VZ ) mobile customers travelling outside the US have experienced issues connecting to the network since Wednesday evening, Bloomberg reported on Thursday, citing the company.

"Some customers travelling internationally are experiencing service issues" and the company is actively working with the roaming provider to resolve the issue, the report cited Verizon spokesman Kevin King as saying in a statement.

Customers including actor Patrick Schwarzenegger and Archer Aviation's chief commercial officer, Nikhil Goel, have voiced concerns through social media platform X posts, the report said.
