01:01 PM EDT, 04/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Wabtec (WAB), Siemens and Fortress Investment Group are vying for Alstom's US rail-signaling business, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The auction has reached the final stage and these bidders are valuing the Alstom unit at about $600 million, the report said.
As due diligence is still ongoing, a deal remains uncertain, according to the report.
Alstom, Siemens and Fortress declined to comment to Bloomberg, while Wabtec did not immediately reply.
Wabtec, Fortress and Alstom did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment. Siemens declined to comment.
