Market Chatter: Walmart-Backed OnePay Rolls Out $35 Wireless Offer

03:13 PM EDT, 09/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Walmart ( WMT )-backed (WMT) fintech OnePay is moving into telecom with the launch of OnePay Wireless, which provides unlimited 5G data, calls, and texts for $35 per month, CNBC reported Wednesday, citing mobile services startup partner Gigs.

The service, which runs on AT&T's ( T ) network and is powered by Gigs, became available Wednesday through the OnePay app, according to the report.

Since its 2021 launch alongside Ribbit Capital, OnePay has expanded its offerings to include credit and debit cards, high-yield savings accounts, buy now, pay later financing, and peer-to-peer payments, CNBC said.

OnePay confirmed the launch but declined to provide additional comments, according to CNBC.

Walmart ( WMT ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

Shares of Walmart ( WMT ) were up 1.2% in recent Wednesday trading.
