01:30 PM EDT, 09/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Walt Disney ( DIS ) will no longer use Salesforce's ( CRM ) Slack after a hacking entity stole millions of messages and thousands of files from the workplace communications tool following a data breach, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday, citing a company memo.

Many teams at the company had already shifted to streamlined enterprise-wide collaboration tools, sun setting the use of Slack across most of its business by the end of this year, according to the memo, the Journal reported.
