Matador Resources Starts Up Expansion of Cryogenic Natural Gas Processing Plant; Says Lenders Reaffirm Borrowing Base
May 29, 2025 5:58 AM

08:33 AM EDT, 05/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Matador Resources ( MTDR ) and its affiliate, San Mateo Midstream, on Thursday announced the start up of the expansion of San Mateo's Marlan cryogenic natural gas processing plant in New Mexico.

They said the expansion adds an incremental 200 million cubic feet per day of natural gas to the previous 60MMcf/d for a total designed inlet capacity of 260MMcf/d at the plant.

The companies added that the expanded plant supports Matador's development activities in New Mexico and existing third-party producer development plans, and also allows San Mateo to pursue more third-party volumes.

Matador also said that this week, all 19 lenders under its reserves-based revolving credit facility reaffirmed their borrowing base at $3.25 billion and elected commitment at $2.25 billion.
