Mattel Partners With Human Mobile Devices to Introduce HMD Barbie Phone

06:49 AM EDT, 08/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Mattel ( MAT ) has partnered with Human Mobile Devices, known for Nokia-branded phones, to introduce the HMD Barbie Phone, a small, pink flip phone with a retro look, Human Mobile Devices said on Wednesday.

The phone will be available on Wednesday, the company said.

The phone allows calls and texts but excludes social media apps, the company said. It also features a Barbie-pink keypad with hidden, glow-in-the-dark designs of palm trees, hearts, and flamingos.
