Maxeon Sues Canadian Solar for Patent Infringement

05:24 PM EDT, 03/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Maxeon Solar Technologies ( MAXN ) said Monday it filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Canadian Solar ( CSIQ ) in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

The lawsuit claims Canadian Solar ( CSIQ ) infringed Maxeon's patents relating to Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact solar cell technology, according to the company.

Canadian Solar ( CSIQ ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
