09:12 AM EDT, 09/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- McKesson (MCK) said Thursday it is making changes to its reportable segments and organizational structure, effective in Q2 of fiscal year 2026.

The company said it will report financial results in four segments, including North American Pharmaceutical, Oncology & Multispecialty, Prescription Technology Solutions and Medical-Surgical Solutions.

The North American Pharmaceutical segment will combine the company's wholesale drug distribution businesses in the US and Canada, while the Medical-Surgical Solutions segment will eventually be separated into an independent company, McKesson said.

The organizational changes enhance "strategic alignment and transparency," the company said.
