Two analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $0.21.

Operating revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $1.05 billion, compared with $1 billion a year earlier. Two analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1 billion.

For 2024, MDU Resources ( MDU ) raised its earnings outlook for its regulated energy delivery businesses to between $180 million and $185 million from a prior guidance of $170 million to $180 million.
