11:29 AM EDT, 06/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- MEG Energy ( MEGEF ) on Wednesday said all personnel have returned to site at the company's Christina Lake Regional Project (CLRP) oil-sands operations following recent regional wildfires south of the facility.
The company evacuated staff on May 31 as wildfires threatened its operations and cut its power supply, suspending the startup of the company's Phase 2B operations, which represent approximately 70,000 barrels per day of production
The project is now connected to Alberta's electric grid and MEG is restarting Phase 2B operations.
The company's shares were last seen down $0.16 to $25.20 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
