Meta hires two Apple AI researchers after poaching their boss, Bloomberg reports

July 17 (Reuters) - Meta Platforms ( META ) has hired

Apple AI researchers Mark Lee and Tom Gunter for its

Superintelligence Labs team, Bloomberg news reported on

Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Lee has started at Meta after leaving Apple ( AAPL ) in recent days,

while Gunter will begin work in the near future, the report

said.

Reuters couldn't immediately verify the report.
