Aug 5, 2024 4:54 AM

ISTANBUL, Aug 5 (Reuters) - Instagram parent Meta said

on Monday that the company will continue to do everything that

it can to restore Instagram services in Turkey following an

access ban imposed by the country.

"Millions of people are being deprived of their everyday

ways of connecting with family and friends, and businesses are

no longer able to reach their customers," the spokesperson said

in a statement.

Turkey's government will hold talks with Instagram officials

on Monday about the access block imposed on the social media

platform last week.
