Meta Platforms Ending Third-Party Fact Checking Program in US

08:00 AM EST, 01/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms ( META ) said Tuesday it will end the third-party fact checking program in the US and will roll out a Community Notes model.

The company will launch the Community Notes program in phases in the US over the next couple of months, it added.
