01:47 PM EDT, 08/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms ( META ) and Sage Geosystems said Monday that they entered into a geothermal power generation partnership that will deliver up to 150 megawatts of geothermal power for the social media company's data centers.

The companies said Sage will use its proprietary geopressured geothermal system to provide the data centers with carbon-free power.
