08:07 AM EDT, 07/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms ( META ) and Vodafone ( VOD ) said Monday that they have collaborated to optimize the streaming of short-form videos on eleven of European mobile networks without reducing quality.

The companies said they recorded "a meaningful reduction" in network traffic for Meta applications across Vodafone's ( VOD ) mobile network during a three-week test conducted in the UK in April.

Financial details of the collaboration were not provided.
