06:59 AM EST, 01/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Metsera on Friday filed for an initial public offering with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Financial terms of the IPO were not disclosed in the filing. Metsera plans to list its shares on the Nasdaq Global Market under the ticker symbol "MTSR".

The company said it will use the proceeds to fund the phase 3 clinical trial of its most advanced product candidate, MET-097i, and the remainder for working capital and other general purposes.
